Garden Coaching

What is Garden Coaching?

Garden coaching is one-on-one advice and hands-on training to help you cultivate your gardening skills and meet your garden-specific goals. Garden coaching is good for people who:

New Gardeners Who

  • Want to cultivate a green thumb, but can’t seem to keep enough things alive.
  • Just moved to Texas and have no idea what grows here (or how to keep things from dying in triple digit weather).
  • Have a yard full of plants they can’t identify or don’t know what to do with.
  • Are dying to build a Pinterest worthy oasis that all your friends will die to see, but don’t have the skills or wherewithal to even start.

Nature Lovers Who

  • Love butterflies, birds, and other pollinators and want to learn how to bring more of them into your landscape.
  • Want a certified native habitat and need help making it happen.
  • Are interested in cultivating a wildscape on their property that mimics the natural environment around them.

Eco Minded Folks Who

  • Want to learn how to do things in a more eco friendly way without being chastised by a granola nazi for your less than perfect choices.
  • Want an eco-friendly garden that doesn’t look like the set for a post-apocalyptic film.
  • Want a more nature-friendly approach to gardening without giving up modern amenities like toilet paper and electricity.
Are interested in rain water harvesting and other water wise practices.

Foodies and Chefs Who

  • Are curious about how to create a beautiful, edible landscape that doesn’t look like a farm plunked in your yard.
  • Want to make meals with herbs and produce fresh from your very own garden.
  • Have a restaurant or inn and want a way to differentiate your business.

"No occupation is so delightful to me as the culture of the earth, and no culture comparable to that of the garden."
Thomas Jefferson

Gardens are personal expressions of what we find beautiful. Garden coaching helps the gardener create their own personal expression of beauty, while building skills and knowledge that will last a lifetime.
